Welcome on the Salvatore Iaccarino (aka NiceSmallYak) website. Glad you are here! I am a Structural Geologist currently working at the Earth Sciences Department of Turin University (Italy) and I really like doing geology.

Despite I was born a few meters above the sea level (in Southern Italy) my main research topics are Mountain Belts, particularly the Himalaya-Karakoram-Tibet (HKT) system and the Western Alps...you never know what happens in the life...right?

Besides geology, I enjoy the life by hiking, reading, saltwater fishing, discovering new things, drinking etc... and gaming (I love AoE and Halo series). I am open to any sort of suggestions, collaboration or whatever, just contact me!
